Ana L. Rodriguez, M.D.
Dr. Ana Rodriguez received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1978. After earning her medical degree, she was commissioned by the United States Air Force and served her first tour of duty in Italy as a general medical officer. She was then accepted to the Wilford Hall Medical Center in Texas for a residency in dermatology.
During her service of eight years in the Air Force as a flight surgeon and dermatologist, Dr. Rodriguez pioneered military usage of lasers in dermatology. After transferring to the Air Force Reserve, she returned to Texas. In 1987, she began her dermatology practice in San Marcos.
Dr. Rodriguez is board-certified in dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. In addition, she has conducted Dermatologic Laser Surgery procedures since 1985, holds numerous credentials, and has held many teaching positions in laser surgery. Dr. Rodriguez routinely performs laser hair removal, tattoo removal, spider vein treatment, skin resurfacing, and other laser procedures. She is very skilled at dermabrasions and FotoFacial RF™, as well as Restylane®, collagen, and BOTOX® injections. She combines technical ability and an artist's sensitivity to ensure the best cosmetic results from all skin procedures. All procedures are conducted in the comfort of the Dermatology and Skin Laser Center.
Sherri Crespin, RN, FNP-C
Sherri brings to the Dermatology & Skin Laser Center outstanding credentials and years of experience. She attended the University of Texas in Austin and is nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner. She was also trained in esthetics and is certified in the use of lasers in dermatology by the American Laser Institute. She has provided health care for over 16 years in various specialties such as internal medicine, vascular surgery and dermatology. Sherri also served in the United States Army as a nurse. Professional affiliations include the American Nurses Association, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Texas State Nurses Association, and International Coalition for Nurse Practitioners.
Sherri enjoys running, biking, cooking and salsa dancing in her spare time.
